Dalai Lama accuses China of wrongfully using its power – United News of India

Gaya, Dec 17 (UNI) Tibetan spiritual guru Dalai Lama today castigated China for its

‘tough stand’ on rights of Tibetans saying it was using its power in a wrong

manner.

After completing his special worship at Mahabodhi Temple at the temple town of Bodh Gaya, the spiritual guru told newspersons that Chinese government was exploiting Tibetans by not using its power properly. In the present day modern world, every person has the right to liberty, he stated adding that in such a situation, China was misusing its strength.

“It is not proper from any yardstick,” he remarked.

The spiritual guru said, Buddhism is different from all religions as it has equal approach towards all. He said, Buddhism`s message was peace, love, compassion and mutual brotherhood, based on modern science.

“I have been discussing about Buddhism along with modern science for the last 30 to 40 years. Buddhism is based on the tradition of peace and equality”.

As it is, Chinese government had of late threatened Tibetans not to be ‘swayed away’ by spiritual guru Dalai Lama as they should clearly understand the rule of communist party in the region clearly.

Meanwhile, elaborate security arrangement has been made for three week stay of Dalai Lama in Bodh Gaya, the seat of Lord Buddha`s enlightenment.
